Regime Forces and Iranian Militias Suffer Huge Losses By ISIS Attacks

Several members of the regime force and Iranian militias have been killed on Saturday by DEASH militants who attacked their positions in Homs eastern countryside. 

Nahr Media news media reported that the Islamic State organization's fighters (DAESH) attacked positions in the Fifth Corps that is supported by Russia, and other positions that belongs to the al-Baquer militias supported by Iran.

Both attacks took place in Homs eastern countryside and left casualties among both sides. 

The website added that clashes between DAESH and the regime forces are still taking place since Friday night. 

During the clashes, more than 12 fighters of both sides were killed, according to local sources, while more than 25 fighters were injured.

The same source confirmed that warplanes that belong to the regime forces and Russia launched several airstrikes on positions believed to be Deash positions in the Syrian Desert, but no casualties were reported. 

It is noteworthy that Daesh and the Assad regime ambush each other in Desert regions that extend from the countryside of Deir Ezzor to the countryside of Homs, where casualties of both sides fall each time.
