In a tragedy that sums up the sufferings of residents under the siege of Assad’s regime and its allies, Suad Mohammed, an old lady from Aleppo died on her wheelchair in al-Shaar neighborhood.
Whereas almost everybody escaped from the neighborhood after the advance of Assad’s regime forces and their allies, Abu Mohammed, Suad’s husband, was pushing his wife on her wheelchair in search of someone to provide her with a temporary treatment after her illness aggravated due to the shortage of medicines and medical facilities in the besieged city.
Shortly before his woman’s death, Abu Mohammed, in an interview with Anadolu Agency, said that his house was bombarded in an airstrike, causing the loss of his 7 sons whose destiny is unknown yet.
That time, the afflicted man expressed huge concern about his wife in case no doctor was found.
Not so long after that, Anadolu Agency correspondent in the area reported the death of the sick wife on her wheelchair in the street, leaving the poor husband weeping after losing all his family members, whereas the world, under the silence of the world to the sufferings of hundreds of thousands of the besieged in Aleppo.
