The Assad regime's warplanes waged several airstrikes on different areas in the southern countryside of Aleppo Sunday.
This airstrikes came in conjunction with intensified artillery shelling on the villages and towns of the same countryside.
"The warplanes fired several thermobaric bombs on the area of Ikarda and the vicinity of Al-Bawabiyeh town in the southern countryside of Aleppo," said Ahmed al-Issa, the spokesman of the Civil Defence in the southern countryside.
The regime forces fired more than 100 shells of artillery and rocket launchers on the refugee camps in the area, causing damages in the tents of the IDPs, al-Issa added.
It's noteworthy that the warplanes waged several airstrikes on the same area last week, which led to the death of a civilian and the injury of many others.
