A number of civilians were killed and others injured, on Monday, as a result of being targeted by militias of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), that attacked Castelo road north of Aleppo, with an air cover of regime warplanes.
Factions of Free Syrian Army in the city of Aleppo launched a counter-attack against SDF which attacked the Free army-controlled areas yesterday.
The FSA managed to capture a member of "SDF" and destroyed a machine gun (23 caliber) on the outskirts of the neighborhood, whereas the clashes are still taking place between the two parties, resulting in the martyrdom of lieutenant colonel "Abdul kareem Al Yahya", the chief of staff in the North Division of the FSA , due to clashes with PKK militants.
The SDF launched yesterday night, April 4, a massive attack on Castelo road and on locations of FSA at the outskirts of Sheikh Maqsood neighborhood, which resulted in the blockage of the road and its surrounding by snipers.
Regime forces, centered in Al Ramouseh, shelled Bani Zeid neighborhood and the nearby areas of Al-Ashrafiyya, with no information about causalities yet. Castelo road is considered the lifeblood of the liberated neighborhoods in the city of Aleppo, which is the only way food, medicine, and fuel enter into the city; closing it would lead to a full suffocating siege on the residents of the liberated neighborhoods in the city.
