The National Army has advanced in the vicinity of Tal Abyad city in the northern countryside of Raqqa, following taking control of most of Ras Al Ain in northeastern Syria on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Turkish Defence Ministry has announced neutralizing 459 fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) since the start of the military operation Peace Spring in north Syria.

The National Army's factions have captured the villages of Al-Droubiye and Abu Qabr as well as several positions in the countryside of Tal Abyad, Baladi News correspondent reported.

According to local sources, the National Army took control over Ras Al-Ain border crossing, the eastern entrance of the city and the industrial area.

The SDF fighters have withdrawn from the town of Al-Mabrookeh to the southern areas in the city of Ras Al-Ain, the same sources told Baladi News.

In the south of Hassakeh, dozens of SDF fighters have arrived after refusing the fight against the National Army and the Turkish forces.

The fighters of the National Army have blocked the road which connects Ras Al-Ain with Tal Abyad, and took control over the M4 international road between Aleppo and Hassakeh.
