A Russian military expert familiar with the Syrian conflict revealed a new theory for the explosions that shake Hama military airbase on Friday.
Sputnik quoted from the expert "Yury Liamen" that explosions occurred due to failures in producing the bombs, denying that airstrikes has targeted the airbase, as there is no information about moving Iranian air defense weapons to Syria, so the information on destroying it in the area is fake"
Syrian regime theory says that "Fire blazes caught one of the weapon ammunitions in Hama airbase, which led to cause 4 explosions due to the high temperature"
Sources in the Syrian opposition said that Hama airbase faced airstrikes that cause to destroy the missiles brigade, the central building of airbase, the officers and Iranian soldiers' residential buildings, the helicopters landing areas, Radar tower, Ammunition and missiles depots, and barrel bombs warehouse. The sources asserted that at least 40 burnt bodies arrived to Hama hospital and 70 were injured.
