"Jund al-Aqsa"  and " "Fatah al-Sham" agree to stop fighting

"Ahrar al-Sham Islamic Movement" and Jabhat Fateh al-Sham" agreed on a number of issues relating to the dispute taking place between Ahrar al-Sham and Jund al-Aqsa, who recently pledged allegiance to Jabhat Fateh al-Sham .

The agreement includes an immediate cease-fire among the two parties, the opening of all closed roads and the immediate release of all detainees held by both factions during a maximum period of 24 hours, except those involved in crimes charges, according to an official statement issued on Monday.

The statement also includes the formation of a judicial committee made up of judges from " Fatah al-Sham" and from "Ahrar al-Sham Movement", in addition to an independent judge , and the committee's role is to look in all list of suits especially murders and accusations of people connecting with the Islamic state " Daesh " in addition to  the killing of one of  Ahrar al-Sham leaders, known as "Dabous", and that the Committee shall meet within a period of 48 hours.

The agreement allegiance of "Jund al-Aqsa" to Jabhat Fateh al-Sham is considered a solution to the entity and a full integration with the front , in which they will have the right to re-form a new entity under any name.

Based on the mentioned agreement, Jabhat Fateh al-Sham will take control of the checkpoints of "Jund al-Aqsa" in Srmin town, and that the situation will return to what it was before the dispute, and other liberated areas will be managed according to the agreement with Ahrar al-Sham.

"Abu Abdo Fouaa," the commander of the artillery in " Ahrar al-Sham movement", has confirmed to Baladi News the validity of the agreement, wishing " steadfastness to

what has been reached," and vowing that if "a breach in the agreement or a refusal to hand over the perpetrators from "Jund al-Aqsa" occur, the fighting will continue".

In turn, Jabhat Fateh al-Sham confirmed the validity of the agreement, and a leader from the front, who preferred anonymity, told Baladi News that "the cease-fire will be steady and true, and that the front will held any extremists accountable".

It should be noted that in the past few days there have been violent clashes between the "Islamic Movement of Ahrar al-Sham" and "Jund al-Aqsa" on charges against the latter in involvement in several assassinations , that ended  with the allegiance to the  "Jabhat Fateh al-Sham" which handled the coordination with the " Ahrar al-Sham "to end the dispute.
