Coronavirus hits Revolutionary Guard members in Deir Ezzor

BALADI NEWS

Twenty-five militiamen of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Deir Ezzor have been hospitalized after showing symptoms of COVID-19, local media sources reported.

Fifteen Iraqi members of the Popular Mobilization who showed symptoms of Coronavirus were transported to Iraq across the border in Albukamal, the sources said.

Those who have symptoms were isolated two days ago in militia-controlled homes in Albukamal, eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

It's noteworthy that Iranian Revolutionary Guards and the Assad intelligence have warned the medical staff in Albukamal against leaking information about the numbers of infected people or even the suspected cases, according to the Euphrates Eye website.
